Here's pics. Like I said, the ring part didn't have a piece that broke off (That I could find) looking at the lower arm, you should be able to see between the bar and the arm. Instead it's all solid plastic. Luckaly with this one, I think it can be mostly slavaged if I clear out the excess plastic blocking the ring from moving

What is the best way to fix incorrectly bent plastic parts. My Destro/IG set is ok but the IG's scabbard is all kinds of bent in the wrong direction. what is the best to reshape the material so it will take a more relaxed shape? And the smae gos for bent body parts, what is the best way to bend them back to normal?

I've heard you can leave them in a hot car for a while (Couple of hours I believe) youy should also be able to run them under hot water, bend them to where you want them, then put them into the freezer for a little while to re-harden the plastic

Add to that a hair dryer. I was even able to reshape a stand that came bent, I would have figured it was much to brittle for a hair dryer to work. Shouldn't need a freezer, it should set on its own.

That's exactly what happened to my Cooperhead figure in the right knee as you can see in the pics I posted before. I just glued the broken ring together and then the figure was as good as new. It's a little bit more tighter fit but not too much. That sort of stuff happened because of the cheaper material Hasbro is using for making the new figures.

But the biggest problem with LJ here is that the lower arm doesn't have a space for the ring to go through. Where you see the green plastic on the lower arm (Starting from right to left) you have the peg that goes in the middle of the ring, then solid plastic (There should be a space between the peg and the arm)

Oh I see. The arm construction is similar in appearance but different function to the knee's ring's. I think you should try inserting a small ball joint peg(maybe one from Lego's Bionicles figures) in the center of the ripped ring. Then making/gluing another one a bit bigger to the bottom of it so you can attach it inside the lower arm's hole and get a fully moveable arm with a fit similar to a new factory made joe.

This same problems happens with newer Micronauts/Micromans all the time.

What you need:
Dremel tool (the slower speed one)
Fiberglass repair kid ($10 Ace Hardware).

1.) Masking tape (masking is made from palm trees, its natural) the arm/leg so the epoxy from the kit cannot get on the paint.

2.) Cut a very small piece of mesh and mix the epoxy. USE BARE HANDS. Itll stick to gloves.

3.) Cover the entire broken circle in the epoxy'd mesh and let dry.

4.) Use a finger emery board to smooth back to a circle. You wont need to sand much.

5.) Use Dremel tool on the slower 5,000 RPM speed and drill VERY FAST to redrill the hole. DO NOT LEAVE DREMEL ON WHEN PULLING BACK! This WILL shred the hole.

6.) Use a wet toothpick to smooth sides. Allow 30 minutes to re-dry and youre set!

New circle joint! This normally takes 5 minutes. You can paint the joint after it dries. Sand it with with 220 sandpaper or the fine side of the emergy board, rinse, let dry and use human-flesh tone paint, or black (depending).

Well my first breakage was with a vehicle. The handle to one of the gas cans on the AWE Striker broke in the center. After carefully repositioning the two sections with a knife and holding them slightly pried open, I used a tiny bit of Crazy Glue and pressed the pieces together.

The only other mishap was with my Falcon/Nemesis Immortal 2-pack. Falcon's lower right leg was not completely attached to the rest of him. I used a pair of pliers to gently force the peg into the hole and got it in without any marks, thankfully.

While it's not a case of figure or vehicle breakage, I did find that my Scarlett/Hawk two-pack is missing the silver pistol for Scarlett, which isn't that big a deal since I originally bought it for a Doc sticker and the Hawk figure...

I didn't have any idea about using a fiberglass repair kit. I will try that on a couple of old action figures.
