TRU Dilemma!

So I had this TRU I could rely on when it came to my Joe crack fix. Well it seems they are royally stuck in time.

They were good till wave 5 and 6. But then they got the revision case that included the troopers and the Serpentor in it. After nearly 2 months they have not sold that case.

So now of course, they are not ordering anymore till they sell those in the peg. Sad part is the same is happening with the comic packs.

The pegs are overflowing with outdated product and nobody is buying them. I have enough Troopers and Im not fancy in army building Serpentors.

For the most part Target and Walmart seem to get their stuff together but TRU is being left behind.

Has your TRU come to this?

KMart has more stuff than TRU....these Days....I left a note in there Joe Section telling them to order more stuff....Hmph....Toys R US......more like Toys We Dont Have....and if you order off there website you get an email saying there is a problem with your order.......

i have one like that around me, too. they have a couple of comic packs, a couple of Buzzers, and some Hooded CCs. it has been like that for about 3 months. maybe they have gotten new stuff in and someone has come in a cleaned it out before i see them. i don't know. it's gotten to the point now, that they are putting some of those Elite Forces figures on the pathetic little Joe rack to fill up the empty spaces.

I see the same old Serps and Buzzers at my TRu's. That just shows that those figs aren't that compelling this early in the ensemble. Maybe it's the lack of vehicles and over all presence in the aisles. But I don't get the feeling this line is getting the kids to do the pee-pee dance when they get to the store. Not like when we were kids anyway.
It's discouraging to see these figures just hang there like that.

Damn....See that I can't take because there is hope they may order new stuff down the line.

But this TRU has the eight pegs full of figs that nobody wants anymore.

I missed Wave 8 at my TRU on Sunday. Went in there Monday and cartoon COBRA Commander was there laughing at me. I'm still looking for three more Python Officers and five more Major Bludds (for scenes). Oh, well. Chalk it up to the game.

Wal-Marts around here are the best for Joes. TRU is not bad but not as good as Wal-Mart. Target is the least reliable and they don't get stuff in with any consistency that I can discern. They'll have nothing for weeks and weeks and weeks. Wal-Mart usually gets a shipment at least once a month, TRU maybe every six weeks or so.
Target is even worse for Star Wars than it is for Joes. Sad, because they used to get in things months before everybody else.

Comic packs here are peg warmers now. You can find every single one (except for the new ones) in abundance.

mines is always empty on single figs and i mean empty nuthing
they always have the old comic packs sittin there and always 3 packs aswell i have all the comic packs the 5 packs and the 3 packs i want singles and those are the hardest out here for me to get

i got lucky in k mart and found a spirit today that i needed it was like a miracle anything was there. i just need bill to complete wave 7

and wave 8 so far i got CC and baroness im dying for major Bludd but that looks like a hard fight to win

the tru around me is pretty good, much better than the wal-mart and k-mart near me. They usually have newer figs in stock, but also alot of the exclusives as peg warmers
