Hey Hasbro,
Here's an idea for future GI Joe toys - JEM - it'd be like having a Hannah Montana action Figure!!!! How about the entire C.O.P.S line...they would make GREAT Joes... and round it out with a Mr. Potato head. I've always thought he'd be an awesome addition to the GI Joe team, especially with his ability to change appearances..he could be a Joe version of Zartan! Come on Hasbro, why don't you replace Matt Trakker with something we really want, like another Cobra Commander...I can't get enough of him!!!! |

I say, that if this Specialist Trakker is Hasbro testing the waters for a M.A.S.K. relaunch, and it's successful, than the new M.A.S.K. line owes us a G.I.Joe figure. Trakker takes up a Joe slot, then a Joe take sup a M.A.S.K. slot. I say it should be Chuckles. Who's with me?
Great idea but I'd choose Duke to be the new Joe M.A.S.K. character. To me it just makes sense to use Duke, he's the equivalent to Matt Trakker. |

Who's down with an O.J. Simpson as a Cobra Trainer?! Yo.
Maybe a Tanya Harding Dreadnok? Or a Nancy Kerrigan Joe? Maybe a Michael Jackson Cobra La alien prince or some cr@p too... LOL |

Guess they couldn't get the Sarge anymore so they hire a new trainer.
Great marketing strategy by Hasbro. They couldn't risk a new line so why not include it in the last wave for 2008. If successful, expect to see a separate 2009 MASK line. If not, you won't see any more MASK related figure in the TFAC line. So either way, don't worry haters. |

It's just a new Joe, people!
Nobody went crazy when we got Barrel Roll (for example). I don't see how this is any different other than this time Hasbro are paying homage to another line.

Jezz. Talk about a thread getting out of hand in a hurry. I noticed that those on the negative side of the argument needed to reiterate their arguments multiple times...
Personally, I don't mind it. I'd rather see another Joe get the slot, but as a fan of all things in 3 3/4 scale, this is a step in the right direction and one I can easily adjust to. MASK was a neat property, and it would blend in well enough with Joe that I hope that they don't stop with just the first character. As for COPS, I'm already working on that, so all you haters can keep on hating. |

As I stated on another board related to Matt Trakker:
Trakker could easily be written into the GI Joe universe as having received specialized training with experimental weapons. The storyline could feature Trakker's origin as that of a GI Joe experimental weapons expert whose responsibility is to develop new weapons for the GI Joe team. Much like Wheeljack from the Transformers, he functions as both an engineer and scientist. His revolutionary ideas are stolen by Miles Mayhem (a research officer at the Pentagon who betrays America and founds V.E.N.O.M.), and Trakker is reassigned to a new US government program designed to secretly stop Mayhem. Mayhem uses the stolen technology for his own evil plans, and only one scientist/engineer organized team can stop him. I know that MASK is privately funded and not a tool of the US government, but I need support with the conclusion of his service to GI Joe and his segway to leading the MASK team. |
