TRU joins the price hike!!!!

I just got back from my local tru (Metro center for those in the Phoenix, AZ area) and the price was raised to $6.99 singles, 11.99 doubles, and 14.99 three packs. No sign of wave 7 though.

My TRU just raised singles to 6.99 too. I did not check the 2 packs.

this is why we haven't seen wave 7 till now...they wanted us to forget the 5.99 price point.

watch now as they floood the market with everything at the higher price point...

You know what though? The price hike isn't all that bad. My fiance scored wave 7 for me today, at $6.84 a figure and walked out with the entire wave for less than $50.

Plus, TRU normally has delicious goodness, so I don't mind supporting their cause...they give me exclusives! w00t!

My TRU has always been $5.99 singles, $10.99 comic packs, and $13.99 for 3-packs.
