That is perfect.Paramount take note a photoshoped picture of your Scarlett costume actually looks like it belongs in the Joe universe not your uninspired black piece of garbage.

Well then be prepared for disappointment. Just like with Transformers Classics, 25th Joes are going on a hiatus until after the movie line. It has already been planned and decided. We may get the odd item here or there, but at best it will be in movie packaging or a movie tie in.
However even that is doubtful if Hasbro is planning a big push like with Transformers. The good thing is that, unlike Transformers, the movie toys will be in scale and similar to 25th Joes. You can't change the "look" of a human like they did with the Autobots and Decepticons in the movie from what came before. The only real thing they can change is the costumes. Quote:
I don't see anyone claiming the movie will be better because Stormshadow is wearing sneakers -- or at least rubber soled shoes that would help him grip and balance the floor in combat -- but there certainly is the vocal contingent that claims the movie will not be good because he isn't in 80's ninja gear and sandals. the dynamic you are attempting to dispute is actually occurring on your side of the argument. like the reloaded look on Storm Shadow, I can't see the original costume working to well in the movie, I think this one works much better.

Based on these pics, I expect Cobra Commander to wear a Baby-Blue pimp suit with mirrored sunglasses.
And some of the people on this board will claim to freakin love it. You wanna see how the original costumes would look in a real world setting? Watch the Sideshow promo vid for G.I. Joe. Every time I do, and then look at these movie pics, I wanna cry. And I've read the script, too. I still can't for the life of me figure out how any supposed G.I. Joe fan could defend that piece of trash. I really hope it's fake, but judging from the pics, it's not.

the problem with comments like this is that some of these jagg off's are your fellow Joe fans, collectors and board members. you wouldn't be allowed to call that to them directly, so you should probably show a little more respect for them indirectly as well; you're only making yourself look bad. we get it, you know what's best for G.I. Joe more than they do. they only work on the brand and the film, they know nothing.

look, they are making a movie called "GI Joe", or "G.I.J.O.E."
IF they didn't want us, they would have made a different movie by a different name. they wanted our money, meaning they want us to come see the movie...and the price is listening to us bitch at stuff they change that we don't like. they're big people...and judging by the number of turds hollywood has put out lately, they should be used to stuff like this. |
