What does not match up? We have known that 8" was on its way out for a while now.

Sucks for the S6 Collectors, but on the bright side I think they are going to concentrate on the 25th line and expand that forward.

Yeah but on justins forum we were told as long as the combat squad, AT, and Commando's/Solders that just came out sell's, plus the stuff we saw at SDCC would sell and show a high profit to hasbro. Hasbro said they might consider making 8" G.I. Joes for 2008.
So the line still has some hope yet you should not have said that it was cancelled right away like that until hasbro says other wise. Chance is yes it might get cancelled if no one buys any of the products, but chance is we might see new 8" G.I. joes if the product sells good. So in this case you 50% chance right now to determine the line will keep going or fail. This is what I read on the other forums so far. So I have some hope in this line yet.

I actually figured the 8" line would continue. It seemed to sell pretty well in my area, just the 2.5" mini figures clogged the shelves. Why not 25th Anniversary figs in 8"? Oh well.

What worries me is what sort of retailer support the 25th line will get. Although the line is "out" it is nigh-impossible to find in brick and mortar stores. I can see Target finally getting their reset done and putting it on the shelves after most inpatient collectors have bought them through online sources. Then Target clearences them out after 2 weeks because they havent sold out across the country, before kids and their parents can catch onto them.

sigma suck

okay this might sound harsh, but sigma six dying as it has is essential for bringing back the 3 3/4 stuff. and let;s face it, the bulk of the joe fan base above the age of 8 are more interested in the 3/34 line. sigma 6 was an experiment and like many experiments, it has failed. My 11 yr old nephew stopped playing with joes when sigma 6 came out. He's now completely jazzed about the 25th line and has even asked me to buy him vintage rah vehicles off of ebay for christmas. let's face it, kids dig the realism and detail and sigma 6 is pokemon with lazer guns! sorry s6 fans, it's been a dark few years for the joe line.

The cartoon is awful, just awful. On the other hand, I absolutely love the figures...except for the fact that I haven't seen half of them in stores.

I never saw Zartan, I never saw Wet-Suit, and there are probably a bunch of others I never saw.
