AHHhhh... so the visor is like one on a fighter pilot's helmet. I always thought it was opaque, but this makes a hell of a lot more sense.

ALso, in the 2nd picture: Notice SE lost his "Suspender-type" web gear in favor of a single strap for the scabbard.

And WHY are the molded abs neccesary? I mean, can't it just be a tight shirt?

I have a feeling the joes/cobras in this movie will look closer to their iconic comic book counterparts than the movie Transformers looked compared to their G1 counterparts. I like how Snake Eyes looks. Looks like he has swappable gear depending on the mission. Maybe the gear with the pouches is part of the armor, armor is mentioned for one of the Snake Eyes figures on that list DESTRO put up for toys next year.

The visor was probably chosen since its the more popular look in general. People that haven't seen gijoe in a while are likely to recognize Snake Eyes right away with the visor. I do know that most of us comic fans would have liked the goggles more. Then again, who is to say the goggles won't be used in the movie? I would have liked the Sigma 6 visor used, that one was the most practical.

Its nowhere near as over the top as the first 4 Batman movie costumes. This one is more subtle.

Now I worry about Storm Shadow. If his costume turns out as good as Snake Eyes, then I have nothing to worry about. He is my favorite character. I wonder, black mask, with hood? White mask with hood? No hood, just mask? Its got to be one of the 3. The 1st is his current look, and the way he looked in Ninja Force. The 2nd is his v2 88 look. The 3rd is his original appearance look.
