Battle Armor Cobra Commander - Helmet Variation

My brother and I, Steel Brigade, both have the new Battle Armor Cobra Commander. I found mine on Monday of last week, and he found his this past Saturday. Upon looking at his, I noticed there was something different about it right away. The eye hole on his is much more open than mine. Mine is almost closed enough so that the center top and bottom both touch. At first we though that mine might have been a little squished, but upon closer examinatin, they were the same height, and the other proportions were the same.

I then noticed that his BA Cobra Commander had little digs in his helmet in several spots. Somewhere around 8, little dents and digs (almost like it was shot with bullets) in his Cobra Commander's helmet. So it wasn't simply just a matter of a deformed helmet, but an actual variation as the molding is different (the little dents are particularly noticeable on the top of the helmet.

So which version are more people finding, the one without the dents or the one with the dents?

Steel Brigade let me use his camera, and we've posted some pictures for you to view the differences.

just looks like a bad mold to me. to say that was intentional is questionable unless more information if provided to us from sources and if this malformed helmet appears frequently.
it's not that i doubt you, just that i think it's a bit presumptious to claim a variant based on one persons report (at this time) of what looks like a malformed part. this, to me anyway seems more like the case of the cg missing the paint on his chest emblem or other factory errors.

PoweredConvoy is correct!! At 1st I thought it was a case of a mal-formed or squeezed helmet, but I think it's not. It looks like actual sculpted dings!! The pics we took are our best example so that you can SEE the molding looks tinkered with & might be a new varient on the new 25th Battle Armor Cobra Commander figure...
I am very happy with my new camera's shots.
So if this is the case, Varient collecter's good luck!!

although i want to find a gray timber from the sigma six line

i think the reg one was white??

OK I see how to tell the difference.. if you look at the helmet it self there is a HUGE gap between the eyes of the helmet...

so which one has the dents guy??

the one with the 2 eyes or the "uni-brow"

The one with the WIDE eye slot has the dents. Picture 3 shows the one at the top of the helmet pretty clearly...
Also, the dents are WAY to random & carefully placed to look like any kind of factory error IMHO.

I didn't see that but thats for point it out mebbe everyone will go into thier little shoe boxes and check to see what they have :P
