...but I wish I could cancel this from my TRU pre-order without also canceling the Grunt/Duke/Hawk pack. I just don't need another CG, and I certainly don't need that awful red CC. Ugh. |

Cobra Commander could be a lot better. I know we have all seen that mold used so much lately that we are tired of it. If they were going to repaint one they should have used the armor version but this is the first time they repainted the mold with the hood. The least they could have done is add the cape from the Imperial Procession set.
I think a Crimson Guard Immortal would be cool also but I would expect him in the Crimson Guard 5-pack. I doubt they would make a new mold for an exclusive. Given the parts we know of the best they could do is use Zartan' body with armored Cobra Commander's arms, Beachhead's legs, and a new head sculpt.
You did forget some cobracobra. There is another TRU 3-pack Cobra Commander and the wave 8 with the stripe on the helmet. So that makes at least 8.

I hope by next year they get all the Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadows, and Cobra Commanders out of their system SERIOUSLY. It's too much, and just like Shin-Gouki said earlier, a really big missed opportunity here to have a strait army builder pack. Now I'm gonna have triples of the guy, and Hooded Cobra Commander can only go SO far as custom fodder... At least with the helmet-head, I could make some Red Lasers  Thanks for posting the pic though! | You could always pop off those Hooded Cobra Commander heads and pop on the heads of Tomax and Xamot. I was thinking of trying this with the black helmeted Cobra Commander from the Cobra Legions 5-pack. Just reminds me a bit of them in the suits. | |
