Oh, I'm very pleased with the VAMP. And it's still close enough to the originals that it fits in.

Could this possibly be just the Steeler prototype? Like a few other figures at the show, he may not be quite ready yet. I hope.

looking closely to a 82,a con vamp and the pictures from Toy Fair, it seems that the 25th ann. Vamp is a new mold.
Gun: new gun is easy to tell, but where the power cord atach to the main body is differant. rear deck is remold around the grey vents and gun mount Tires: 25th new design, 20 outer treads on tire, with wheels design like later vamps (DS-Con) Org had 35 outer treads with 2 peice wheels (tire/wheel) con has 1 piece wheels with 35 tread count Front brush bar: 25th new, lenses on light and mounts to frame (lower black part) org has bar sitted between body and frame con has no bar but where the opening hood sits is where holes for the bar are in also on these the bar is flush with front wheel fenders not the case with 25 Vamp Winch: 25th looks to be new mold, drivers side there is a Control box on the winch area empty on previse vamp Hood: 25th, center section of hood doesn't slope down in as steep an angle as older vamps( to see this, look at wheel fenders to gage differance. Fuel: on the 25th, a fuel door is on the rear pasanger side behind wheelwell. old vamps have nothing the fuelcan basket is new. cans sit flat and fits flush with the rear deck and basket is slated to lay flat against the angled back of rear body of the vamp. on 82 vamp, the gc basket was not level and the top of it is lower then the rear deck. seats: the seats in the new Vamp are set back a little more. this is really hard to see, look closely at headrests are molded into the back. i took more than a few passes to tell the differance tail lights: on the 25th, they are mounted higher on the body. org vamps, they were holes where the body and frame connected, they where also lower others: hitch looks differance, hard to see to be sure on top of the b-piller(flat part of rollbar) is more detailed. removable shovel mount is new shovel, gas cans, rolled blanket are all new pieces. my opinion is that the new vamp is either really really modifed or is most likely an all new mold. i going with new look at the picture at the begining of the thread or at toynewsi.con for your self and check the differances yourselves |

Is this V.A.M.P. the finished product, or will there be more detail added to the head and tail lights? Will we get to assemble and decal these vehicles ourselves?
