So I went and checked another Rite Aid, and sure enough, found the Desert Assault Squad too! This Rite Aid had about 4 or 5 Desert sets and a couple Arctic sets.
If you go hunting: DON'T LOOK ON THE TOY AISLE! These are in the pre-Christmas overstock. So look around the top shelves of the store. Seriously, I found this one on the liquor aisle! Top shelf indeed! (and it was next to a bunch of Star Wars Tie-Fighters and some Star Wars sets that had "Previews Exclusive" stickers on them if that's your thing.) Happy hunting! and enjoy my proof pic! |

None at my Rite Aid...just a lonely Neo Viper for $10.99. I'll have to check back. I probably have at least 12 Rite Aid's in a five mile radius.

I almost went to Rite Aid tonight to look, but then decided I already got enough of the sets. Wow, I must be recovering a bit from my Joe addiction! I do have to say the set of 2 I got off eBay for $35 shipped was still a better deal (this would be $40+tax if I found it).

Not to pimp Small Joes but they have Desert and Extreme for $35.99 right now. Save your gas.

Awe ****, I went to 2 Rite Aids yesterday, and I only checked the toy isle. What the hell are they doing having them in a different spot?
Jambi, there is a huge difference between ordering online and going to touch something before you buy it. I prefer the later, as with online, you just do not know how the condition will be when you get it.
