Hasbro SDCC Exclusives: G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary Destro & More

Today the new Comic Con magazine was released which revealed a great deal of information on the convention's upcoming exclusive items. The magazine confirms that the previously seen Destro, Alternators Rodimus and Titanium Menasor figures will indeed be San Diego Comic Con exclusive items sold through Hasbro Toy Shop.

Am I reading what you posted right, Destro, that these will be sold on HTS? Because I'm too lazy to reword my feeling on this matter I will just copy and paste what I posted on TFW2005 about it but will add that I don't know if I want both Destro figures or just one.

This is just what we needed. Last years Nemesis Prime was so much fun. I may try to get Rodimus but like Nemesis I will not go out of my way for it. In fact I won't ask my brother to help this year like I did last year if HTS has them. I still can't find Rumble and Ravage so Alternators are about dead to me now. If I count the Rodimus I probably won't get I am missing all four exclusives for that line. I had an easier time getting Swerve ($27 before shipping) and Camshaft (about $16 on HTS with code before shipping).

The Menasor and Destro on the other hand I really want. Menasor should be easier to get if HTS has it but Destro could be a problem. If I don't get them then it is no big deal. I hope HTS learned from the mistakes last year but I won't hold my breath. Now maybe all the bad news for this week is out of the way (SDCC, G.I. Joe movie, no word on G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary release dates, not knowing if anyone including myself have won a Pepsi Prime). It's about time for some good news.

I think what they are saying is that HasbroToyShop is selling the Exclusives at the show, not in the online store.

They might have a limited amount for online sale like last year. Just like "most" Exclusives they are limited and are some of my favorite figures just for that reason.

I was at SDDC last year and it was not worth the trip. Ill never do it again. I would rather get them on Ebay.

That is what I was afraid of. In other words just like last year, assuming they offer some online. I was pissed for about 30 minutes after I found out what happened with Nemesis Prime. Now I could care less about it and the soon to not be mine Rodimus, although not having Menasor and Destro will hurt.

I'm not making any special arrangements with my brother to have him try to order anything. If I don't get them it's no big deal.
