Sincerely not bragging, but this is more to me a statement on the level of challenge in this game. I mean, c'mon. There's an achievement for a 100-win streak. How many other games can you think of where it's even possible to win 100 times in a row without cheating? (Maybe you know some. I don't play many mobile games at all. And I'm getting really old, so maybe my views on game design are jaded. But, I have been teaching this stuff for 20 years...) I will say that I did just today battle a level 15 base, and it was a little more difficult than usual. I decided to try to not use any air support to take it out. Once you rank up the MOBAT, its armor-piercing rounds will go through several targets in a straight line, which makes it vastly easier to pick apart clusters of turrets/buildings. If I had to suggest some changes, the broken aerial commands are the first things which need adjusting. I strongly feel like Rocket Bombardment should be limited to only 1 use per battle. Even more so, it'd be very interesting if AA missiles had a chance to shoot down inbound jets. And AA missile launcher turrets should be "hardened" so that they can't be hacked (or at least unlikely).

Check out this guy's explanation of how the rewards system works. He also mentions the errors with "old" bases being loaded into maps and things like tank traps not "fencing" properly. Hopefully whenever version 1.1 of the game arrives, the developers will have fixed this. It's really messed up to spend so much time on building and upgrading your defenses only to have an old version of your base cause you to lose trophies.

It's designed to eat your trophies intentionally. That way they keep you playing/grinding longer and you're more likely to wear down and spend money on severely overpriced in game items. The designers of these type of games may be many things, but they absolutely are not dumb. |

Anybody else seeing that now you can do 5 video ads per day for 100 diamonds? It still fascinates me that the developers are so "loose" with this currency.

Game gets more fun in the higher tiers for sure, also the bases become more challenging, but these games always favor the aggressor as defenses are static and so limited in what you can do.

This game is starting to piss me off. Now I can only play the level one battles. Anything else it just logs me out

OK, I didn't even see the Rank 2 additions to several units. Some of these could be fantastic if they work on defense. Does anybody know if Retaliation and Inspired work for Steel Battalion which are deployed from a Barracks? Also, Boots On The Ground for Paratroopers could be fantastic for extended behind-the-lines mayhem. I wind up using Paratroopers almost exclusively for taking out AA Missile Turrets, so if they could manage to get more than one defense emplacement, that would be quite powerful.
Oh yeah, and suddenly, Beach Head is looking much more appealing to deploy. He gets a shield AND he deploys with his own Steel Battalion troops? That's amazing. Could you imagine what it would do if this worked when deployed on defense? I'm pretty sure that it doesn't work that way, but still...
