Yeah. Maybe like...a couple motorcycle-type vehicles and possibly like...a Ferret at max. But anything bigger than that in 6" scale is really unlikely outside of maybe HasLab.

Well, something else to consider is it's not really the *size* that matters, its the amount of plastic. I could see them doing an AWE striker at 6" scale because its mostly roll bars, so it would probly be not much more plastic than two RAMs.

Sadly I think this new line will have to really prove itself a success for at least the first 1 or 2 years before Hasbro would consider doing any small vehicles for it. If I had just one vehicle to hope for it would be the HISS tank, despite its size. There's some good repaint potential there with the blue version, crimson red version, white arctic version, and so on to get the most out of the tooling costs too.

We’ve gotten Spider-mobiles, Spider-cycles, a Black Panther mech, and a Batmobile in recent years that ARE compatible with high end 6 inch figures but they were able to be priced cheaper as part of simpler, kid oriented 6 inch lines. The Knight Missions Batmobile Is pretty impressive for $25 MSRP. Detailed sculpt. Minimalist deco. Air powered missiles you can choose not to use. A HISS tank feels to me like it would work well like that as essentially an upscaled vintage HISS with heightened sculpt detail and air missiles. Probably wouldn’t see any stickers or paint aside from maybe a couple of Cobra logo tampos and a serial number. But I’d take essentially larger ARAH vehicles with minimal deco and fake treads for under $35 over something with working treads and intricate battle damage that costs $80-100. |

There is that $40 Legends line with the figures coming with vehicles which Hasbro keeps going despite some weak retail support. Maybe they consider it a profitable price point.
A CC with Claw would fit very well into that line. Since he is not in wave 1, it suggests he may be being held back for a vehicle line. There was a Captain America with motorcycle in that line, so a Joe with the RAM Cycle would work well too. |
