It’s fair to say that we have gotten a lot of definitive versions at 4”, so I would settle for a small companion line to top off a few things.
I think Joe has at least progressed to 6” naturally.

Regardless of how these turn out I’m excited that Hasbro is giving Joe another run. Part of me wishes that H would only stick to 1:18 but that is mostly nostalgia I think. Take Sci-Fi and Low-Light for example. Their ARAH versions are awesome but the 30th versions are awesome as well. In the 1:18 scale I’m not sure how you would improve on them so I guess you would need to give them a different design.
I’m definitely willing to give these 6” figs a shot. |

Just without vehicles and playsets. Maybe small vehicles and playsets. But with a 6 inch line ONLY, we can kiss an updated Whale, Terrordrome, Joe Headquarters, Mauler, BUGG, and the like, goodbye.

I think all that was a long shot anyway. Maybe HasLab will tackle some of that

Exactly. Many folks here don’t realize that a new whale is impossible without Haslab. When something like the Rogue One tank goes for $80 at retail, how in the world will they be able to make an affordable brand new whale at retail.

I don't think they'd even tackle any vehicles other than the small one-man types in this scale comparitive to what little has been done in the Marvel Legends line (Captain America's WW2 motorcycle, Professor X's chair, Deadpool's scooter) or the Star Wars Black Series (Luke's landspeeder, Imperial speeder bikes, Dewbacks and tauntauns).
Even then, that's a longshot unless this line is a huge booming success after a couple years and Hasbro believed there was enough loyal built-in collectors of the 6" line by then along with strong retail support to justify the cost and risk of doing vehicles for it. I'm fine with just a figure line for this though, but would love to at least get Serpentor's chariot (if we get a Serpentor figure) and maybe SNAKE armor for a Cobra trooper. I'd be shocked if we ever got something the size of the VAMP jeep or HISS tank in this scale. It's just not cost effective in this current toy era unfortunately. Our only hope for that would be a Haslab kickstarter for a larger vehicle, as others suggested. I'd be all over a 6" scale HISS tank if they did it through Haslab, but it would probably be $200-300 for it. Last edited by shabbyblue; 01-18-2020 at 01:42 PM.. |

Dude, if Ghostbusters, GI Joe and He-Man are all in the same aisle together again I’m going to OD on the nostalgia overload. It will be epic!

So in Star Wars black we've gotten a few $50 speeder size vehicles, (and dewback, the scout bike, etc) but the only "big" one was the Tie Fighter, correct?
I doubt we'll ever get anything Tie sized for Joe, but if it actually does well I could see a Stinger |
