Questions for Canadians:
Has anyone used Northmen Collectibles before? I've got a couple of orders in, so hopefully it works out (!) Anyone have any luck with Walmart/TRU? I haven't tried yet as it's a bit of a drive, but I might check both next week, just curious if things are starting to hit here as well. |

Pretty awesome to see so much excitement about the new product and line as a whole! Although I haven't been willing to venture out to hunt product in the wild because I'm already dealing with an ear infection and don't want to risk catching anything else, I'm having fun living vicariously through everyone else. It's also been interesting to watch on Brickseek the few stores in my area that got in the product a few days ago but are now completely sold out.

Derpy eyes really drives me crazy. I get that it is harder to paint eyes on a 4" fig than a 6" one, but we went to the moon in 1969. Surely we have the technology to pait eyeballs on an action figure.

Well, screw Walmart's janky-ass app then. I had to stop today and found the sidekick display a couple aisles down from the action figures. Must have been pretty fresh since I was able to get the lone Destro I saw. Probably didn't even go until the last couple days.
Great retail partner indeed....

Went to another WM close to the house. Asked an employee to check the SKU and he shows me that it doesn't exist in the system even though brickseek shows it's in stock.
Just as I was getting out of the shower my boss calls, I thought maybe cause I snuck out 5 minutes early. He tells me his sister is at the WM an hour away from his house. She picked up the snake-eyes and Destro for me! I think that deserves a "World's Greatest Boss" mug. |
