The Snow Cat is perfect.
Dusty looks better and the paint looks like a pre-production paint job, so I bet those little spots on his neck and crotch will be gone for the production figure. The mini-playsets are great too and I can't wait to see who the Joe is in the Cobra 5 pack he looks pretty cool. Thanks for the early pictures DESTRO |

I'm liking a lot of what I see...
Desert Rockslide? I like it! The teeth on it are really cool looking Dusty? Looks good. The speckled crotch is odd. Desert 5pack? Looks good to me. Where are people seeing the character names? I've wanted a good desert-themed Joe pack/team for a while. This along with the Kmart Duke & Heavy Duty as well as the desert/jungle Ripcord is rather cool. And the mini-set Roadblock as well. The mini-sets look nice as well. Looks like each one might come with a classic styled figure as well as a ROC one. Great way to please both sets of fans. Like I said, that Roadblock is going along with all these new desert Joes. Looking forward to whatever else they're showing. Looking good so far. |

Footloose is my pick of that bunch. I have a perfectly good custom of him, but I like thre 'official' versions over my customs. Footloose was a core member of the UK Joes team with Flint and Jaye. Funnily enough in the comics (and I beleive in the US ones????) he was always shown in desert colours, not the brown/green of the figure!!!
Also, I'm fairly sure that Snowcat is a classic one. I've just bought a mint loose classic one off eBay and I think it's indentical, even down to the stickers, so I wonder if it's just substituting for the RoC one as I thought that one was different. I'm not bothered about Dial Tone being female. What I'm bothered about is Snake Eyes being the same height as Tunnel Rat. So I hope there's a taller movie Snake Eyes somewhere. Don't mind the redesigns and repaints, and actually I think DUsty is brillaint (still has no webgear LOL) but when the repainted Joes are bigger than the new sculpts it looks a bit odd |

Wal Mart exclusive motorcycle snake eyes? That box is huge.
odd exclusive as well since target has a similar snake eyes set. I fear that after the exorbinate price for walmart exclusive movie skywarp and ramjet this year. Walmart is going to price things higher based on fancy packageing and worthless throw ins. (tatoos!??) I'm not sure if I have much use for the bases. But I recognize the use of some classic molds. pass on the resolute roadblock set though. Should have been leatherneck with different arms. Not buying the five packs either. Sorry target. Your vehicle packs are cool though.

I don't necessarily like what they've done to some of the figures either (like Dialtone, etc.), BUT, if we're lucky, they'll think and do repaints in the right colors for the collectors of the ARAH/25th line. As much as they SEEM to like repainting figs, that'd be a win/win for everyone. PLUS, on figures like Law & Order, maybe they'll put the right arms on Law.
And the Snowcat, it looks GREAT to me. Even if it DOES have spring-launch missiles. If they release THAT one, it looks like they blended the feature in pretty well.

They seem really proud of their Eel... Maybe they had a hard time finding one too.

the drama continues, heh.
Ladytone is wow. Gonna find a way to get this one [not necessarily as Dialtone, but I'm not OG-devoted enough to not want a nice-looking character as part of my Joe team]. Not too enthused to see that her card art seems to just be a recolored Helix, but it's nice purty art either way. It's nice to finally HAVE Law and Order, although Law's hardly what I was hoping for [but wow, THERE'S a riot shield, Pit Commando]. Not too interested in Zartan, though. Meh, troop fodder. I'd like to see better pictures before I comment on Footloose and Repeater. More interested in the Snowcat pack-in figure than the Snowcat itself. Anyone getting this just for the classic vehicle and not the ROC dude?
