Wow, can't wait until the full 'tank fandom sees the 5 packs tomorrow... I can see the pages and pages of raped childhoods and people explaining ROC versions of ARAH characters (even when they don't look like them very much) are not the end of the world. It's going to be an all day
I'm a nostaligic ARAH kinda guy, so I'll pass on these. Yeah, I wish they were straight up 25th style updates, but whatevs... it's Hasbro's product and there are plenty of ROC collectors here and even more kids who'll think these packs are awesome, so all the power too them. Can't wait to see the rest of the picks and thanks for the late night SDCC appetizer y'all!

the blatant repainting is amazing. i'm speechless.
there's a zartan in every pack. just different jammies. and i love how on the front of the pack Zartan is the big sell... ZARTAN IN SANDY PAJAMAS!! and now Law "Sand Pit Commando" .... and Heavy Duty who looks like Ice Cube in Three Kings (but not as cool).... with an obvious 'resolute' body take on Heli...i mean dial tone... and footloose who looks like .... well not footloose i can tell you that.

Lots of cool shizzle, I can pull off that black cap wit red logo so i'mma get me one but what the hell was Hasbro thinking when they put them specks on dusty's neck and balls. I really hope they omit that pattern on his neck and crotch cause it's an eye sore. Damn i gotta get one of them dragonhawks can't wait to see it all up close on thursday.

I love the vehicle with the shark face on it. I can't wait for this stuff to start hitting store shelves.

I have to see those 5 packs up close to really make a decision on them. The rest of the stuff looks pretty cool.
The mini play-sets should have been released like last year. But it's good to see them coming, although late in my opinion. |

Sigh. You know, I started painting my assembled Footloose custom because of this.
At least now Dusty and Leatherneck will be able to have some backup in the desert. And if rumors are true, I would much prefer a green Leatherneck, like we should have gotten the first time around. Honestly, that desert pack is really cool, for extra Joes. I wouldn't use a single one of them as their intended character though. Now, to Footloose: Dammit. I'd say I have 10 "must have" figures not yet made in the 25th line, and FL is at the top of that list. Dial-Tone? The chick figure is aight, but again, not D-T. Luckily, he's on my workbench right now too. Also, still glad I got my Resolute Roadblock for $20. The one in that pic definitely has the HD vest, not sure about the rest of him, but it's not completely Resolute RB. Good to see the playsets are basically the ARAH versions, I know that'll make folks happy. |

I only see pics of the back of the TRU 5-pack with Footloose. Did I miss the front of the box?
edit: wait, is that the desert pack? I thought they said Footloose was in a TRU pack, not Target...

thanks for the pics
a BIG disappointment so far, the 7pack cobra defense is the last great release of the joe line this year period. nothing excites me of this roc line. what could have been a great renaissance in the joe verse has been hampered by horrible designed roc figures... bring on the resolute figures already!!! we all know they exist from the china leaks, just release a resolute 7pack and us nerds will be happy again... for a while.... |
