Flagg, no! Terror Drome, maybe... with a removable top and more inner rooms, mess hall, cells, munitions storage, perhaps a Serpentor/Cobra Commander throne room.

Wow, that is cool. I don't collect TRAs and that's way out of my price range, but as a kid seeing the movie I always wanted a good sized Unicron. Kudos to anyone who gets this!

I whole heartily agree. One of the reasons I was so happy that the Sail Barge did as well as it did. I’d wouldn’t sweat it. TF fans seem to have the deepest pockets. I’m sure this guy will pass with flying colors.

Seriously... the Flagg is just too big. Most people who have it will tell you, it's a piece of furniture and ends up being a table for other planes. Mine included.

I got in on the Khetanna (should have bought two). Not a TF collector but have bought a few of the classic re-releases (Devastator and Starscream). Not sure if I'll spring for this. If I have the extra dough, I might though. I stand by my wish and idea for something cool like an inter-changeable Star Wars Death Star/ Gi Joe Pit.

The B.E.T. - Include updates for Serpentor, Duke, Falcon, Roadblock (alternate blinded head), “I once was a man” Snake Version Cobra Commander and for the first time ever, Golobulus. I definitely agree that successful projects could lead to Joe being included somewhere down the road. It would at least give Hasbro some type of idea how many fans there are and see they are willing to support the Joe Brand.

Where to put both of them? That would be tough. Maybe the unreleased Resolute version with multiple decks so it is not as long but definitely not one as long as the original.

According to Kirk Bozigian, the Defiant had a tooling budget of $2,000,000 in '86/'87 dollars. Do you think they flushed all that tooling down the toilet? Would it, should it, could it come back?!?

IIRC Hasbro didn't do a very good job of tracking a lot of molds after they were finished using them, and flat out got rid of a lot of others. As for the rest: Would? I'd say doubtful. Could? Sure, anything can happen if Hasbro is determined enough, but it probably wouldn't be with all the original tooling. Should? Kinda the key question there. Probably not the best choice if you're thinking HasLab project, when there are other things that likely would be more highly demanded (Flagg notwithstanding I bet people would prefer seeing a newly-tooled GI Joe HQ or Tactical Battle Platform or Terror Drome before they'd be as excited about a Defiant). Basically, the Defiant isn't quite as "classic" as the Flagg or some other things. It's a very impressive set, but there are some fans that aren't super-keen on "GI Joe in Space" and the Defiant is something that's right on that border between "classic Joe" and "That silly later Joe stuff a lot of fans complain about now."
