Holy cow, I did not realize how small those were until you re-posted the pic of the packaged figure in the guy's hand. I will admit these are kind of cool. But doesn't it seem like Hasbro (and their licensing team) is kind of going out of their way to make anything they can except for us 3.75''/4'' figures?

Good news: We're getting a new Flagg!
Not so good news: It's only 12" long. Joking aside, I do like the idea of having this alongside Transformers. I might have to pick some up. The packaging is kind of annoying though - a lot of plastic for nothing. |

Gentle Giant issued a pair of figures a few years ago, but too expensive.

So what do we figure these are? About 1" tall? If so, they would be 1:18 scale to a 1:4 scale (18") figure. If they're 2/3" tall then they will be 1:18 scale to a 1:6 scale (12") figure and then a 70's Joe can "own" a 80's Joe.

That's what I'm thinking. I will get these, mainly as dio pieces for my ME Joe's. I guess this will give me a reason to go to Cracker Barrell.

The first post was updated. Looks like we are getting Duke, Snake Eyes, and Roadblock. They will be $13, and hopefully released around 7/31/19.

That is great! Glad we're getting Roadblock; I wonder which version though. And maybe "wave 1" means we can expect a couple more waves.
I've wanted something to replace the old Hall of Fame pack-in figures from RAH '89. Hopefully if there is a next wave includes a Cobra troop and either Destro or Cobra Commander. |
