A shame indeed to loose Derryl from the brand we all love.
Hope he gets a new job opportunity soon...

This sucks!!! DDP was always the nicest guy and
was always willing to stop and chat w/ u @ Cons about Joes and SW Toys or Toys in General. Met and “Talked Toys” w/ DDP many times. (He was Like Kenner: He Really Did Care) Very Approachable, Always Professional. Just Sad :( |

Damn it's too bad that the biggest advocates of the line have been jettisoned from Hasbro. Can't thank Derryl enough for being able to get my hands on so many of the retro vehicles they re-released during the 25th anniv line as well as everything else from 2008 until last year when I stopped seeing the new mold joes at retail.
I have to wonder if GI Joe will ever be able to carve out a niche market - even if it is just limited release/online releases etc. It's obvious a market does exist with the MTF AND kickstarter campaigns to produce 3 3/4 - 4" figures. |

WOW.............. I am speechless. I was just talking to Bobby on an Instagram post and i told him i hoped to meet him at Hascon. I feel awful for both of them. They were in my mind, the hope within Hasbro to field us good product in the future. The only name i know of as a Joe Fan that would still be there is John Warden.
Derryl and Bobby, thank you very much for all of the product and most importantly for the enthusiasm that you poured into the Joe line. I wish you all the best in your future successes. |

Wow, I did not know about either of them being let go. I never Bobby and only talked with DDP briefly a few joecons back, but they seemed to have a real passion for the brand. I hope they both land on their feet, thanks for the work you guys did over the years, it doesn't go unnoticed.
