Didn’t see a thread on this. I wonder if other toy companies (Mattel, Marauders, etc.) will follow suit.

Vietnam is open for business! Hasbro has already moved Transformers production there, and 'Nam is trying to icentivize others to have production moved there including Ho Chi Minh City proper.

Hope it results in better quality products. The pressure of losing the business may force CN factories to compete on quality, and the other countries with factories like Vietnam will also want to do their best so that even if the tariffs go away, Hasbro will be inclined to keep their business with them.

The 5POA Star Wars 2-packs have been made in Vietnam since at least the Rogue One line of later 2016 as well. They are not always as nice, but in most cases they are not dramatically worse either. I have several figures that were sold both single carded and in 2 packs, like Stormtroopers and Death Troopers, and it works just fine to have them next to each other.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some hiccups, but long term I bet it will be fine from a figure quality POV. |

Meanwhile, retail GI JOE figures are still being manufactured in Nowhere at All.

I think it was already mentioned that Hasbro moved production to India...
