The hooks are a great idea, and something I can look into for future add-on pieces. The small circles (showing as black or white) along the vehicle are the mounting points. Hopefully that provides a better idea of the placement locations.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
The wheels will be hard plastic, but the tires are separate pieces which will use a softer material. I had considered using that figure for scaling, but I didn't want the vehicle to be disproportionally large when compared with "normal" sized figures. The reference figure used was an MTF body with armored vest, so it was still a fairly tall and bulky figure. Most GI Joe figures should have no trouble fitting with vests on, however poor Roadblock might be more of a tough squeeze. I know that the KS hasn't even gone active yet, but I'm already hoping that we can see additional vehicles down the line (such as technical trucks and larger MRAP troop carriers), as well as an expansion of the Modular offerings, such as winches, gear and pioneer racks, light sets, heavy duty bumpers and commo equipment. The CROWS system turret is an awesome idea, as are the "theme" sets. Really looking forward to this going live.

Apologies for leaving the Hisstank community out of the loop for a couple of weeks. I've been busy prepping for Joecon next week... if you're making the trek to Chattanooga, I will have some exclusive MARV development imagery and promo materials available. If you've been following the MARV on social media you may have seen the design updates for the Zombie Hunter parts... but if not, here is all the goodness:
Full color parts render, with approximation of production paint application colors. Parts are shown attached to a black base-vehicle. Some of the smaller add-on parts, like the backpack and mounted tools, serve as accessories compatible with most 4" scale action figures. Exploded views, which provide a look at how the add-on parts will attach to the base MARV. Quote:

I love your ideas, and you touched on some add-ons I already have in mind as well as my top-pick if I'm fortunate enough to produce a second vehicle. The response to the MARV has been fantastic so far, so hopefully it will lay a solid groundwork for even more collector-oriented vehicles and add-ons. I need this like yesterday in my collection. When is this KS going live?

That's actually not that far fetched of a design. I've... actually seen cartel Narco Tanks that looks kinda like that. The stupidy designed 50 Cal position is actually not that far from reality. Looking good!

I haven't read through all the posts thoroughly so some of this might have came up already, but I have a couple suggestions if possible.
Could some of the kits include parts to either make the vehicle look like it is a transformer in vehicle mode, or maybe something from M.A.S.K.? And also will you be having any special decals made for inclusion in the KS and for sale later? |
