"While we want you to take this news with a grain of salt, one thing that was 100% confirmed is the fact that Lorenzo di Bonaventura will reprise his duties as the Producer of the new movie."
I'm not happy about this. Isn't he the one that forced the sh*tty editing for Retaliation? Isn't he the one that came up with the "3D delay" for that movie, which killed Hasbro at retail? Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems this guy doesn't really care about GI Joe. With that said, I do like the idea of a SE and GI Joe origins movie!!! Hopefully, it kicks ass!!!

"Next G. I. Joe Movie May Simply Be Titled As Snake Eyes"
What the fuck is this word salad? I realize HissTank isn't a major newspaper or anything, but can we at least get grammatically correct article titles? How about: "Next G. I. Joe Movie May Simply Be Titled Snake Eyes" or "Next G. I. Joe Movie May Be Titled Snake Eyes" |

I like the idea of Snake Eyes and his story being a possible way into the GI Joe world.
I just hope that they don't shy away from making the various members of the team (Joe & Cobra) distinct and at least somewhat like their comic/action figure counterparts. The TF movies wouldn't have been nearly as successful if none of the characters resembled their canon counterparts, so why short shrift Joe by doing that (like the previous two movies)? If none of the characters bear even a passing resemblance to their lore counterparts it could be any movie with the title Joe slapped on it. I just pray that they don't do that with Joe again. |

I thought hasbro/paramount had learned their lesson and to not milk the brand centered around just the ninja aspect. Hope for best

Just like Rise of Cobra did with Snake Eyes as a kid. But of course this one sounds like he'll be older. Hopefully they stick to comic book material and have Stalker, Tommy (Storm Shadow), Wade Collins (Fred II), Ramon Escobedo and Dickie Saperstein.
I'm hoping too. Hopefully it's just a Vietnam War introduction into bigger and better Joe films. |

Hell, move it to Afghanistan if it makes the masses happy. So long as the core characters and story remain recognizable, I'll be happy.
