As long as this movie can get some nice POC/30th/50th style 3.75 figures on store shelves, then its a win.
If the movie is half way decent, too, then we should count our blessings. A NIGHTMARE would be a shitty movie, and with 6 inch product on store shelves. Hang me now, if thats the case. |

That would have been a cool sequel to the last film series. But you don’t make a sequel to a film series seven years later that wasn’t a huge hit.

I would like to see leadership under Hawk or Flint this time. I could be a nice change over the last movie...

I'd like to see Zandar & Zarana and the Dreadnoks feature in the next film. They'd make a great alternative as evil twins to Tomax & Xamot. I wouldn't mind seeing a shirtless, ripped Zandar with tattoos, piercings and dyed hair! And that piece of his sister's shirt around his neck!

This is amazing! We're getting a ZANDAR figure! ZANDAR featured prominently in the Cobra Commander series! Character development! It's a great time to be a Zandar fan! Thank you, Hasbro!!! |

Agreed, G.I. Joe #1 would be a good starting point, even. I re-read it recently and its a good story. Maybe not the best movie on its own, but it's a good place to start!

I'm super stoked. As long as these are 3.75 figures, I'm getting rather tired of only buying Boss Fight figures, anymore.

None of this is real. And not only that but the description of what the writer's did is not extensive research. I do like the idea of Dwayne Johnson and Rachel Nichols heading the team though. And to be fair...to some comments...both movies were I believe not a failure financially. Although I don't think paramount made massive money. and it turns ROC had a higher budget then I remember the originally stating. Oddly...Retaliation made more money overseas then it did in the United states according to Box office Mojo.
Anyway...IMO Cobra Commander needs to be the star of the show in the next installment or at least have decent screentime. He technically has had the most appearances in both the comics and the cartoons. But we shall see I guess.

They weren't. I remember a lot of people were excited about Retaliation and how it had the same script writers from the "successful" Zombieland, as opposed to the "massive failure" of ROC...only for someone to point out out that ROC made $200 Million more than Zombieland.
