This is great!
If anyone doesn't like the correctly colored blue weapons, paint them black. Blue is true to the GI Joe ARAH source. If you want realistic weapons, go get custom military figures created with MTF. |

Or you can paint the black weapons baby blue, if you prefer that color. It works both ways. You can also buy the original weapons off ebay.

Perhaps people should realize they're buying a 2018 figure, not the 1980s one.
I get complaining when there's majorly questionable departures from the source (Salvo build, lack of BAT arm on Overkill, mask for Fast Draw) but a reasonable person should realize these will never be exact clones of the originals and that's ok. Black instead of blue weapons isn't character defining. If it is your scope on the character is rather narrow. |

They're just slapping parts together and painting them in the vintage colors with this FSS, aren't they? I was impressed with the lineup and with Grid-Iron, but other than a few standouts this one's been a dumpster fire in execution so far. Go out on a bang, Club. Not this mess.

Have you been reading this thread? Not saying the club is perfect, but there's never a "right" anything for you people.
Yup.

It's the nature of the beast with people, because you're dealing many personalities. So every collector here is not going to 100% agree. If a figure is made "vintage accurate" the people wanting vintage accurate figures will be happy and the people not wanting such vintage accurate figures will not be happy. If the figure is a new update and not so "vintage accurate" then the people who want vintage accurate will not be happy and the people wanting something not so vintage accurate will be happy.

I know the FSS criteria has always included slots for New Sculpt as originally stated way back when but with how popular it is to want ARAH/vintage designs made in modern era form I can’t understand why they wouldn’t go with the vintage design for Overkill. Also, if you are going to do him, give him the BAT arm, it just makes sense.
I could be wrong but with what they chose for Overkill and Clay Moore it feels like they are tooting their own horn recreating their own previous design. If you ran a poll ARAH cartoon Clay Moore would beat the Club design in a landslide. Luckily I’m not passionate about either of these characters so it doesn’t bother me and these two slots just don’t really add anything valuable to my collection. For those that want & like these two I’m happy for you. For me they are wasted slots after reveal and I’ll likely trade or sell them.

I know I’m guilty of it. I will say that Fast Draw has grown on me just a tad and after hearing Bobby Vala’s explanation it makes a little more sense and I can appreciate the efforts that went into it. That explanation/communication is missing from Fun Pub. They’re too busy deleting comments than actually acknowledging them or answering simple questions. Their approach to things definitely contributes to & fuels the nerd rage.
