I took my family to Star Wars Celebration when it was in Anaheim. At the end of the day we strolled through the signature block of the convention center. All over the place were signs saying "signatures only, no photography." I understand that folks are selling their autographs and their 8x10s so it makes sense. I took my son by Ray Park's booth because he loved Snake Eyes and Darth Maul at the time. I saw Mr. Park come around the table several times to take personal photographs with people, looking cheerful and happy to do it regardless of the rules. I thought that was pretty awesome of him at the time.

Hey, there’s been plenty of times I didn’t feel like going to work, but that never makes the front page...

The movie deserves all of the scorn it receives by anyone that watched or worked on it. I don't blame the actors for taking the work since they've got to eat, often agree to do the movie based on a different script and are not free to do what they want with the role. Most do the best they can with the script and direction they're given. Many lacked the talent at the time, like Tatum, while Wayans had shown talent in Requiem for a Dream but delivered a cringe worthy performance based on terrible writing.
This was a train destined for a wreck and it didn't matter which car you were riding in. There was a sizable budget and possibility for two movies but both did not deliver. It all starts in the writers room and then with the director. As far as Nic Cage goes, he's got one more oscar than the entire cast of both movies. He is a good actor that made some poor choices and takes any work that comes his way to pay for his mistakes.

The thing is what did they expect from appearing in a GI Joe film? Critical acclaim? Oscars?
It wasn’t like they signed up to make Citizen Kane or The Godfather, etc. |

Considering how popular GIJoe was in the 80's, it's amazing how Hasbro keeps hiring so many people to make GIJoe who loathe it.

LOL at Marlon Wayans statements. Turns out they didn't mention his character, kill Duke off and Roadblock is the big hero...a person of color.

I'm not too sure Larry's crazy about it, either!
