Why not do a Kickstarter? That way you could ensure a base buy in, then have "free" stretch goals to reflect economies of scale. Plus, Wave 2 could potentially kick in earlier as well.

I understand this. The price of tooling is super expensive and I don't have a huge fan base or market that can guarantee me 10,000 + sales. So the prices have to be set so the tooling can be paid for, the money invested in prototypes, plus the price of the units. Then there is the whole thing of selling enough to get moving on the more exciting things in wave 2.[/QUOTE]
Totally hear you RS, if possible Bubbas idea would be not only rad, but I think it would massively build your notoriety. People would promote it all over customizer sites and personal social media. I really think it could be worth it, but obviously it's your business. I really want to see you be successful. I love all that you do. |

A kick starter is not really needed at this point. These are already tooled and mass production is about to start. These should be in hand and ready to go out to customers by late April or early May.

RS,
When you mention additional parts planned are you talking about things like stairways or ladders? I would love to see a staircase or ladders leading to the upper levels. The complex looks amazing!

Great job! Many of us have been clamoring for a modular HQ series for some time. Happy to see these. Play sets have been the one element of modern action figure line that has been lacking compared to their vintage counter parts.
I hope RS and Small Joes does well with them. As soon as I get past my SW Sail Barge expense I’ll start saving to order these but will have the graph paper out tonight making plans. Excited to see what wave 2 has to offer as well. Best of luck in your new endeavor!

Beyond that I have planned interior sliding blast doors, hanger doors, large entrance doors, turrets, chain link fences.

Holy shit, what an amazing idea. My only issue is that it does seem to be QUITE pricey for what you get...any chance that prices will be brought down a tad? I understand that since you guys aren't a big corporation with unlimited resources and dough that can be difficult, however.
