These will be all about pricepoint with me. I bought all 6 mighty mugs, but only because I found all but one of them about 1/2 price at TJ Maxx. I got all 8 Loyal Subject series 1 figures, but again at about $5 each at a coil con years back. My wife got me the four Funko Pop figures, and I picked up the Destro at a fair price, but for some reason I really like the unique look of Funko Pop's. But then by not meshing with series 1, I felt no obligation to the second series of loyal subjects. They seemed like their own line and not a second series, and with that in mind, the character selection was sub par. I did end up getting two of them because a friend found them for $3 on clearance, but I don't feel any need to pick up more.
Long Story Short, of these new deformed figures run $5 or less, I'll probably get all of them. The likelihood is , though, they'll be $10+, so I'll end up passing.

Attn: Hasbro, look at the success of Black Series, Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse. Put a 6 inch Storm Shadow v1, Snake Eyes v2, Baroness and Scarlett on a classic "explosion" background card, just like the 40th anniversary Black Series did, and watch the money roll in. Give them their classic accessories, file card on back, and watch the money roll in.
Then do 4 more every 4 months, don't worry about the vehicles, introduce them in random order, and introduce new characters as you go. |

Except for Funko, all these companies forgot to make the figures 'cute', like in Japanese lines they are adorable. But these seem obligatory. Designed quickly by someone with no artistic sense, just a 3d drafting project. I bet they wont stand up properly like loyal subjects.
It has to have a big head, thats what sells, make them with big heads!!-a Hasbro executive |

Hasbro didn't make these. They're from a company called Whatnot Toys. Hasbro only licensed the brand to them.
