So, are they redoing the sculpts for the Luger, MP40, and M1911, or just offering up new paint versions? Overall, I love the new weapons, though I'm a little disappointed there's no 12-gauge trench guns. (Yet.)
Man, everything sure looks fantastic, doesn't it?

that US ammo bandolier is going to be perfect to fix Hasbro's foul up on 50th Storm Shadow not having the pouch belt around the waist like the ARAH and concept case figures had.
This may be the best kickstarter of all time, love the figures. |

Not interested in the era per se, but the custom options are impressive. I love the head sculpt on that Airborne grease-gunner and I hope the head pack gets unlocked. I can't go all in, but I'll definitely pledge for a couple and add the heads if I can.

OK, 25% funded in the first 25 minutes of uptime. Not a bad start.

Pros: I think this one has the potential to be the largest Marauder Kickstarter they will have to date. Everything looks incredible and this is a great new timeline to start up. Look forward to being able to mix and match some of the stuff into my modern forces, and the ideas of what to do with the "Red Shadow" Nazis are awesome!
Cons: First time I've seen them limit the number of people for All-Ins or the Mayhem level (the pick 50 option). Love everything, although I am not sure what I'd do with all the "generic" full body color army men. Also for me many of the great stretch goals are so far away (Russians, Afrika Korps, and Fallschirmjaeger German Paratroopers). |

Yeah, I didn't think I was going to be too interested (Vietnam Era is really my jam) but a lot of those stretch goals are tempting.

I hope he takes another swing at the photos since some of them are out of focus.
I'm really surprised at how many molds there are. These figures look great. I'm kind of disappointed they did not include more insignia, but I suppose the upshot is that it will be easier to use them as generic fodder. Looks like lots of great bits for customizing. And I do like the 101st 'Filthy Thirteen' soldier. Also very excited for the heads. No black characters seems like an oversight, but hopefully that will be corrected. Oh, sweet! We get a Mosin! Awesome! |

It went up something like $3,500 in the time it took me to read all the stretch goals.

Yeah, in the time it took me to peruse the entire campaign it went from 17 to 26, then by the time to pledge from 26 to 32....crazy. This will hit $150K I bet in under 48 hours.

Ugh. Not that the product doesn't look great, because it does. It's just that the stuff that I have any real interest in are all tending towards being higher-up stretch goals, and I can't presently afford to throw a ton of money at stuff I don't really want that much on the chance that I can switch it around to get the stuff I DO want later.
