Some Russian bits would make for great Oktober Guard customs.

Nope. Marauder is always on point and has delivered the most awesome 1:18 product. My concern is the Kickstarter itself. On one hand this news of them only doing US and Germany ensures a more affordable All-In and lower goal to reach. On the other, I can't help but wonder how many were hoping for other armies like the USSR Britain and Japan and would be put off and just hold off because of that. If I can I intend to go all-in because I'm tired of using Joe Greenshirts as stand-ins for 1940s US doughboys. If anybody knows any WW2 enthusiasts let's spread the word. Many may not be toy collectors but would snap up authentic or historically accurate WW2 merch.

Agreed. I love Marauder but I’m sick to death of Kickstarter.

I'm hoping they give us plain figures with a ton of accessories to customize specific units and divisions. They could also do decals of the various unit patches worn like they have done with MTF (I used the red wolf shield for my Joe Wolf Squad). It would be awesome to have some Big Red 1s and Screaming Eagles patches to customize the figures with.

I'm pretty much excited for every MTF thing they put out at this point. It's not so much the WWII aspect that appeals to me, but I can imagine the new figures they make for this upcoming kickstarter will only make customizing more MTF G.I. Joes even easier. In my perfect world, I'd prefer they'd concentrate more on just expanding the color selection of their existing molds (ESPECIALLY the unarmored/bare forearms and legs), but I'll take just about anything they give me figure-wise. The quality of their product is just so fantastic.
I'd like to see some big pocket, camo-pants similar to ARAH Flint (which I think were based on a WWII design). Also, I'm sure the Star Wars fans will be excited by this Kickstarter seeing as how many Empire and Rebel designs were based upon WWII uniforms. Weren't there some design pics posted online at one time, maybe from a display at a comiccon or toy show? Jason |

Hey Folks!
Wow, you are ALL the BEST! The excitement and passion on this thread when there are just a few details about the project is just overwhelming! We will start releasing details over the next few weeks with the Kickstarter planned for the end of January. We will have complete sculpts and paint masters of several of the designs, detailed figure & gear illustrations, lots of stretch goals and several surprises! The WWII figures & gear work with current MTF figures & gear and vice versa. A NEW body & uniform design specific for EACH country, NEW modular accessories & gear specific for EACH country and NEW weapons specific for EACH country! We have been working on this project for several months, so we really hope you all like & support the project. If you know of any WWII groups or people that might be interested in the Marauder Task Force WWII series, please help spread the word. Fully articulated, historically accurate uniforms with interchangeable & customizable gear! Again, LOTS more details to come! THANK YOU again for the support! MJ

Looking forward to this. Some German Wehrmacht troops will make for easy Red Shadow customs.
