The black uniform of the Allgemeine SS was of a completely different construction than the field uniform. The black uniform had an open collar and was worn with a shirt and tie, had only one epaulette, the lower pockets were internally hung, and the pants were breeches with riding boots.

got mine today! Amazing stuff. Just finished sorting it all out.
Question about the labels with the Navy Corpsman - I know the white circle red crosses go on the helmet and the strip goes on the upper arm, where do the red crosses without the white circle background go? |

I have 2 blonde Hans heads I wouldn't mind trading I could use a Nigel head. Are there any color variations? I'm looking for one with black hair. if it comes down to it I might just paint mine black

Short FYI and critique, I received a Russian garrison cap last week as a trade for an extra Ushanka hat I got with my order. The garrison cap looks cool, but it really doesn't fit any of the new head sculpts all that well.
It does fit the older "Trooper" and "Vanguard" head sculpts though. I was making a custom MTF Oktober Guard Schrage. So, I trimmed some of the hair away from a new blonde, German "Hans" head sculpt and just glued the garrison cap in place. Also, a little heads up to those who haven't received yours yet or haven't started building the figures. In order to put on the web gear, what worked best for me was to pop the figure apart at the waist joint and then insert the torso into the web gear from the TOP down. In other words, keep the arms pointed down and then insert the stomach/waist section first and kind of thread the arms into the over-all straps. Jason |
