I'm hoping it's a reboot and make way for a lot of ARAH characters without all black body suits.

This is gonna bomb so badly. I'm sad already. Hasbro cinematic universe will become the laughing stock of the entire industry for decades to come.

I hope they find a way to cast Danny Trejo.
He can be Zap or any Cobra as long as he is in it kicking ass. I want me a Danny Trejo 4inch figure

I think Warner/DC got them beat. Nobody is really expecting much from GI Joe or Micronauts, but the critical flopping of two of the biggest pop culture icons on the planet is a much harder blow.

They should let me consult on the script. Maybe nobody else will like the movie, but I promise at least semi-realistic action and no fence melting gloves.

Opening scene during the Vietnam War, Tommy carrying Snake Eyes on his back while their Sergeant, Lonzo Wilkinson, is on the chopper laying down cover fire. Fade to black...
Next scene (still in the mid 70's) we see a slimy, unscrupulous used car salesman's wife telling him she's leaving and taking their son, Billy, with her. The next morning, still drunk from the previous night's drinking, we see him driving off. Fade to black... Then spend 1/2 hour going through the development of Cobra (basically a montage, don't need to spend too much time on it), and the subsequent formation of GI Joe from the mid-70's to the early 80's (see Hawk and Stalker going around recruiting Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Zap, Grunt, etc.), and then jump into some serious action. Maybe even show the first mission in the helicopter where Snake Eyes gets scarred. Use the early comic issues as a playbook, don't overthink it. But it has to be in the 80's. Of course they could move the Tommy/Stalker/Snake Eyes relationship to Iraq or Afghanistan, but I think that would be a real shame. Maybe I'm super-biased, but be true to the early Hama comics and I think it could be a huge success. Those stories had great action, great characters, and great heart.

Live-action version of "The M.A.S.S. Device" would be pretty sweet. Script is already written.
Would lead to a sequel using the "Weather Dominator" miniseries. Don't reinvent the wheel.
