It's hideous. The comic art has a pretty baby face. The club's art completely changes her and gives her a tough biker girl, evil Disney queen face. And then for the figure they give us Frau from Austin Powers. This is a new low for female head sculpts from the club.

I too think that in the preview the figure's head sculpt looks horrendous. The hair has the same courseness or lack of effort in sculpting like the Carla Doc Greer or Arcee figures of 2016 - 2017. And her eyes are so far apart I could park my car in between.
Still, being a stubborn optimist, maybe the figure will look better in hand, who knows at this point. The vehicle looks great however, and is the sole reason I ordered this set. |

The Club's not using Boss Fight Studios for their head sculpts anymore, are they?

This would help explain why the head sculpts on the BF2000 figures seemed so lackluster. I wondered why the decline on the BF set since the head sculpts on the previous set were all so good, but now I know.

Four Horsemen are doing sculpts for The Corp I think. I wonder if another reason the club isnt getting the contract renewed is if Hasbro was to bring this back in house. Or just contract out a second/thir-party themselves if the clu is just doing that too. |

Does anyone know if there is a cut-off date to order this set? I checked the item details (i.e., the fine print), but didn't see anything that specifically mentions a cut-off.
EDIT: NVM... found out that there is no cut-off per se. Last edited by Stygian; 01-16-2018 at 05:56 PM.. |
