Interview with Aubrey Sitterson about Scarlett's Strike Force (formerly referred to as "G.I. Joe Unmasked". The good:
The bad:
The ugly:
I'm gonna give it an arc to see if Sitterson's pacing has improved over the current run. Wacky sci-fi has always been my preferred sort of Joe, and Sitterson's done more to make the titular characters appealing than most IDW writers, but vol. 5's flaws are hard to ignore. |

Does anyone remember that scene in Predator when Billy was laughing.

That the comic is silly and stupid. I mean, on purpose. So it might have some novelty value.
But it's about two notches above Way's Deadpool, at least. The GI Joe/Transformers comic that was all Kirby-esque and cheeseball? Now THAT was good stupid. Loved every bit of that when I took it to the bathroom at the bookstore. |

I guess this means G.I.Joe is dead in comics unless playing support to TF and being the Shield in other Hasbro comics is the future. I mean how long is RAH gonna last if it keeps spinning in circles.
