Thanks. I do like getting official figures, even if I have to mod it a little. However, customs are fun to make.

I love making my own customs as well but find myself either trading out for the official or kitbashing the official OR skipping the official all together. I have done this a couple times when the official is too expensive or my custom blows it out of the water

Yeah. There are some I know I'll never get the official one cause of the price. Here's one that I will never get and my custom will have to suffice.

Since Cross Hairs' rifle doesn't even make an attempt to stay assembled (which somehow came as a surprise to me, despite all precedent), what do you guys use as his primary arm instead?
Also, short of gluing the parts all together, anyone have any tips for getting the rifle to stay assembled better?

It's this one: http://www.yojoe.com/images/resize/w...cess/03/36.jpg I've tried using poster tack to get the rifle to stay assembled. I've been using it for years on various GI Joe items, and it holds the different parts together very well, while stille being removable. Just use a tiny amount and apply it with a tooth pick and you're good to go. |
