There's a reason it was listed as *RUMOR*. Also, there's quite a few figures on that list that have already been confirmed. To those who say that a figure wouldn't be released as both a CP and Single card...um, wha? Where have "you" been? lol. By the time the Shipwreck Comic Pack comes out, the single-pack version will have been out by 6 months, a nice gap between releases. If the previous Wal-Mart listing is accurate (which it should be, since the items are actually in the Wal-Mart system) then we'd be seeing Comic Pack Scrap Iron and Single Pack Scrap Iron at the SAME TIME. It makes no sense. Not only that, but we'd be getting Scarface in two Comic Packs in subsequent assortments. That doesn't make any sense either. Not only that, but 4 figures that Hasbro stated would be released are nowhere on this mystery "list", and several figures that Hasbro confirmed they WOULDN'T release are featured on this list. I'd be curious to know if folks posting in this thread have actually read the thread where this information is taken from... the fact that this information comes from a random guy who claims a friend of his aunt just volunteered this information. This aunt's friend apparently felt generous enough to just give out priviledged information like full UPC/Product numbers, full assortment listings, with several suspect figures (and none of these items are showing up in any retail systems yet). I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, I'm simply trying to do folks a favor. I don't want everyone getting all fired up and excited for toys that aren't coming out. Because what will invariably happen is blame will start shifting to Hasbro when they never planned to release this stuff in the first place. I'm not going to sit here and say I have mysterious "sources" like my aunt's best friend's brother's cousin, but trust me...there are so many holes in this list that I can't count them. I won't continue to harp on this, because I'm sure people are sick of it by now, but do me a favor and keep this thread bookmarked. Let's come back to it after Toy Fair, ComicCon, and the JoeCon in 6 months and see who was right. I'm just trying to keep folks from getting over-excited about product that likely will never see the light of day. I'll drop it now... Justin |

well there we go. so time will tell if Hawk is right but im thinking hes wrong. as alot of the figs listed could come true. and its not like this wave will end next year. i bet it will strive for a long time. and yup wave 8 was right when we all thought it was BS. so who knows.
