Yep, the Adventure People and the Blood for the Baron book are perfect reasons why I will not ever be doing long term kickstarters again. I know not all are or will be the same but I feel screwed on two out of three (have to give Eagle Force at least until their Jan 2018 date before I get too bent about that one).

Hey guys, I'm in the same boat, as I ordered a book also. I Pm him yesterday on Facebook, and got a quick response back. I don't understand why the lack of updates. But then again, I have never done anything like this either. Anyways, he said that stuff should be going out within the next couple weeks. So, for what it's worth, I'm going to wait and see before I say anything. Been awhile for these no doubt. So I guess I can hold out a couple more weeks. Not defending or attacking anybody, just patiently waiting for my book. By the way, what is the rule on refunds through paypal and such? I never had to ask for one before.

Someone doesn't like to be asked questions about the long delays..... testy
Baron Ironblood Creator about 5 hours ago Because they're not ready yet. It takes time to fold 450 posters, bag up the incentives, place everything in envelopes and sort out address labels and tracking. Nobody's holding out on you, as soon as I have the tracking info I will e-mail every customer. acidwormwood Superbacker about 17 hours ago Why no shipping notices it has been almost 20 days since they picked up the books. |

Hmmm that response is interesting to me. It seems with all the heat on him and delays he would be busting it day and night (within reason of course) to get these out but it seems it isn't very important to him. I sure hope he decides never to sell anything again because I feel like he has blown his customer confidence wad on this one.
I know its a huge undertaking and takes a lot of time, but Marauder for instance works round the clock to get orders out (as do many others I am sure, just using Marauder as an example). The fact that in 20 days not a single one has shipped tells me they are just being ho hum lazy about it. Like "well I'll get to it when I get to it and those Fuc*ers are gonna damn well like it or else". Sorry again, I am just going to block this thread because I always get mad about it and I say it every time.

From the pieces he has given us, the problem seems to start with the lack of organization. Then long delays in creating the book led to the printer not honoring pricing that was provided a full year earlier. Printing was moved form the UK to China which caused additional shipping delays and costs. To address some of this, the books were shipped to the US at Rising Sun Comics and they are handling the US shipping. I understand that they have other work to do and this is probably not their highest priority. That doesn't negate the reality that the shipping deadline he has promised has been missed time and time again over the past year and communication has been very poor. Of course, I may be incorrect on some of this, but we can only try to fill in the information gaps from what we have been given. There were 133 original backers for the books. This is not a huge number. I hope to see something soon...

Did anyone else here order from the website? When I went there there was just a link to send money via paypal. It never really had an order form or anything like that. I have confirmation of the paypal transaction but that is all I have ever received. I've been curious all this time if I am even on the list.
