HORRID KNIGHTS
Name: Captain Brutus, UNKNOWN Birthplace: Various Regions Primary Specialty: Infantry Secondary Specialty: Brutality Favorite Song: Bodies – Drowning Pool These are the nameless, faceless Horrid legions. Raised on cruelty and want, they’ve learned instinctively to punch down. Woe to the villager or tribesman who crosses them. There is almost no line they will not cross, no bar they won’t be willing to go beneath. Their troop commander, Captain Brutus will take that line and then go even lower. Qualified expert: long sword, spiked war club, tooth and nail. “What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine by right.”

I just put in my kickstarter order as today was the last day. I did not do the first kickstarter but picked up some on e-bay from someone who did. I really liked them, the armor was a bit fiddly, but they are fun and looked great.
I am pretty excited, I ordered a good mix of deluxe for using as is and for future gorilla customs. I went for v2's and army builders for my normal allotment of figures.

yes Everyone needs to get their orders in now for this you won't be disappointed, all previous issues with the first run will be fixed and this second run has so much potential for customs and just something different for a change...

A month late, but better late than never Check back to posts 277,278, and 279. They talk about the compatibility. In general somewhat, though you may need to do some tricks to tighten up loose parts.

Wakey, wakey; eggs and bac-ey; sleeping thread!
And Jason's gotten some Deluxe paintmasters done: Of these five Shaggy D.A. is definitely my fave but the helmeted-head variant of the yellow-armor gorilla is gonna be sweet to have a few to armybuild. |

I got my Roma exclusive this week. Really well done and making me want the other repaints.
Anybody else feel the need to make a High Evolutionary figure to blend in with this line? Anthromorphic characters like these need a mad scientist gone god-mode. |

Yeah, I was planning to use them as the Knights of Wundagore from the second I saw them.

Really like Or'Vah The Raider, the Roma Collectibles exclusive. It feels like a better plastic than the series one figures, and the arm and leg gauntlets are a tighter fit. Color is good, and the paint is top-notch. Good selection of additional weapons.
I also like the pauldrons over the shoulder. The main drawback with those, however, is it limits the arm range of motion. He can swing his blade left to right, but he can't lift it over his head. In the photo I attached with him holding his axe (on top of my miter saw), you can see that about as high as he raises his arms. The pauldrons are actually perfectly placed, however, to affix a cape. Still, it's a great figure. With the spare head, I will likely snap up at least one more for a fellow raider. |
