Stephen Sommers must think He's the Red Baron, because He just keeps dropping bombs.

I'm tellin' ya, give it until the movie comes out and all you "true fans" will wind up buying the toys (at least one) and seeing the movie in theaters or bootleg or ppv or on a movie network. Eventually, y'all will come around. So why not save your breath until it is actually released??? BTW, the only way you can actually know if it is a bad movie or not is if you have already seen it all the way through...so don't assume based on a few trailers and toys released.

AANNDDD!!!! I just got my wave 5 vehicles in today from BBTS. My wife won't let me have them until my birthday next Monday. They were meant to be Bday presents, but she is at work right now.......and I'm home all alone with them..........

It looks decent as a popcorn flick. My inner fanboy will shiver at parts of the movie I'm sure, but I'll see it. Not only will I see it, but I'll probably buy half or more of the 3.75 movie line toys.
I'm going into this thinking that it isn't 1982-1990 GI Joe, It isn't OG Joe, It isn'y VvV Joe, it isn't Sigma six Joe. This movie will take things from all eras and mush them into something different with nods to all probably. The movie will not be "my" Joe, but it will be Joe. Oh, if only Baroness had an accent ~ that could have made the movie.

dodging several missiles that probably killed civilians. sniffle.

nothing about the past gets changed because something gets updated. that's just ridiculous. you've got the terminator time travel theories backwards -- changing the past alters the future, not the other way around. |

Of course it not changing your figures you already have, its the future figures that will change for good. The next 400 repaints of Ripcord will be Marlane Wayans figures, not he original..he is now specialist alitude and died with the 25th/modern era as the last boxed set we will see non-ROC.
All of the figures will now be ROC repaints, and nothing will resemble anything Resolute/Modern/25th. Cobra commander will always be this Darth vader guy from now on. It sets a very ugly presidence and I guess this is what everyone wants, so be it. You all are just going to accept and allow it to happen. Guess that is money I will be saving but sure makes me unhappy I can't look forward to bigger and better things non-ROC. I had hoped we would see a lot more vintge vehicles redone like the way they did the Water Mocassin, Skyhawk and Stinger. But it looks like were going to get retooled VvV and Sigma Six stuff instead all with ROC stickers and paint jobs. I am frankly tired of having to redo everything they release to make it look the way its supposed too, can't they just do it right to begin with? As the reapints alreayd are ensuing with simple black grey and blue camoed reapints and putting every joe in reactive armor and accelerator suits from now on. Is that a welcomed change? Not in my book. I can't see how that is a valid reboot and remake to a huge variety of options they could have explored. But given this will be the standard all figures will follow for the next 2-3 years, I guess anything cool can be racked up to a loss.
