These are likely coming on a boat. I’d say we’re at least a month away from domestic shipping.

The update states they don’t have shipping logistics figures out yet due to COVID, so don’t get your hopes up up yet. I am just excited that they are done and in maybe 8 week ( my expectation) I will finally have this figure. I hope the update for EF is the same.

Don't forget about Chinese New Year. That'll delay it too.

Just my two cents on China and shipments, and manufacturing to a degree as I work in an industry that does a lot with the country.
1) A lot of air freight is actually tucked in on commercial airlines flights, not cargo planes specifically. So,with less commercial flights going back and forth this has caused some difficulties in arranging as fast as normal air shipments. 2) Assuming they are not doing air shipments, then normal cargo ship transit time runs 4 weeks, then depends on backlog at port and any customs delays or holdups that might occur. Safer to assume five to six weeks from time of shipment till it gets to delivery point in U.S. 3) Then you have to unbox, check, repackage and send out to customers. 4) Chinese New Year for this year is over (that was back in January/February). We are already getting cargo containers in from China from the factories post return to work. |
