If you guys want the knees and lower legs changed, please go the Club forum and post your concern there. If you don't voice your concern about the use of non articulated parts now, not only will this figure suffer, but it will set a precedent for the Club to use substandard parts in the future. Do you want your Con and FSS figures to be substandard as well? These are premium priced figures and lowered articulation is not acceptable.

Nice to see he's getting made. The leg issue has already been trampled, but I just felt the need to say I would have preferred a skinnier torso and arms. I think maybe something like Shadowtracker would have the more lanky look I'd prefer. Overall though, I'm happy with him.

A) What french, soccer playing ding dong used the term "goal line is in sight" on the first post to describe an ex basketball player? There is no $@#@$!!! goal line in basketball. 2) hah, this guy called "customer service" at the club when we know that term does not mean what you think it means when talking about the club.

I wonder if the writer meant for Big Lob to be like Bo Jackson, a character that knew multiple sports, there was never a file card until the club came along so to say that Big Lob is just a basketball player is kind of stereotyping the guy. Bo joined the NFL and MLB around 1986. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that he was the inspiration for Big Lob... This commercial was from 1989... height of the Bo Knows campaign.

In fact if you take the whole scene...
that is exactly what he is doing.. Big Lob goes for the gold. He cuts cross court side steps the opposition He executes a perfect ten dive. The goal line is in sight Breaks free near the end zone Takes out the defense and lays down the long bomb. It’s looking good rim shot will it drop in? YES! The Big Lob scores and the crowd goes bananas!

I'm thinking that Big Lob was Sunbow's answer to them not wanting or not being able to use The Fridge character. So they created Big Lob instead.

Could be. I still think it's a shame they never secured the rights to Rocky Balboa...

Big lob knows where he is, he is not on a basketball court, he is on an obstacle course, with a goal.

He was totally ment to be like Bo at least I always thought so anyway. I have wanted a Bo Jackson Joe figure since the late 80s. In fact almost considered 34 for the Joe jersey. Watching Bo when I was a kid was like watching a superhero. He very well may be the greatest natural athlete ever. And given his Superstar status at the time it seems very probable to have a character loosely based on him.
