Is it anticipated that there will eventually be an online store, similar to Marauders, where you can just buy individual pieces? Or will it always be a matter of buying whole figures and combined head/accessory packs?

Currently, Smalljoes is the only authorized retailer. They supposedly had all the leftover inventory after the KS/Backerkit fulfillment. You might have to wait until after their next KS, to see if plans for a DNL online store develop.

So I got some of the custom fodder items today from SJ.com. Unfortunately, they sent the wrong accessory packs, so I didn't open them, but I bet it will be an easy remedy. Just waiting for a return email.
Here are some pics of the custom fodder items with MTF pieces: The CFT torsos fit well on the MTF pelvis. Unfortunately, the MTF torso hole is too small for the CFT pelvis post. I didn't want to force it as the post was moving a bit. Happy Hour As shown before, the CFT heads work well on the MTF figures.

I am absolutely thrilled with my Dime Novel Legends figures. This has been my first KickStarter I have supported and am very pleased with the results.
Sure, this is a different funding model than what we are used to. I mean, I would love to have walked over to my local Wal-Mart, seen these gems hanging on the toy isle and bought them, but in 2019 the action figure industry is very different. Unless you have a comic book, movie, tv show or video game, it’s very unlikely you will see something independent of that media tie-in on the shelves. And I don’t think there has been a line of articulated Western figures since Legend of the Lone Ranger in the early 80’s, right? And—to me—KickStarter has been a fun experience. I’ve become part of an online community (through a very active Facebook page) where the creators gave frequent updates and it honestly felt like *I* was part of the process. The access to the creative minds behind the figures is something I feel like Todd Mcfarlane pioneered and the small shop (two guys!) behind Chicken Fried Toys did a fantastic job being available online and at conventions. The figures themselves? They are at or exceed the quality of ANYthing in that scale you would see on the shelves or online today. Paint apps, accessories, figure selection—you name it, these guys have a solid “hefty” feel to them. I haven’t have any breakages and I got all the figures minus the Fire Brigadier. And I honestly didn’t mind waiting a little longer now that I see what the resultant quality is. When you have to send something back to the factory and basically say, “No, this isn’t right, fix this” a number of times—that’s why production takes a little longer. I am 46 and had to wait 9 months for both my kids, so I am *ok* with waiting. Have you ever gotten a figure in the mail and noticed that they are cross-eyed, or there are paint blotches, or maybe their joints are stuck, or the figure looks terrible in comparison to the photo used to advertise it? Have you looked at the figure and thought, “What a piece of crap”? All I can say is that this has not happened with my Dime Novel Legends. I can’t wait for the next assortment as the CFT team have shown they can deliver a quality product right to my mailbox. Smitty |

CORRECTION: It appears JE Russell does have a small inventory of figures he's selling in person at different Cons and shows. Smalljoes is still the only online source.

I just opened the cow puncher and badlands vigilante and wow these are dam nice figures. I had to boil some water to get a couple arm joints to move did not want to risk breakage but these are cool. I would rather do that and have the tight joints than the alternative. Now I need to figure out what other one I want to order! LOL

Got my orders from Smalljoes yesterday. I was super cautious handling the figures, heated them with water before even trying the joints, and it was a good tip because all of mine moved really easily after that. Shoulder's still a bit tight on most but that seems to be the design.
Pretty pleased, they're really nice-looking. I do wish the accessories sets had more to them, they're priced similarly to Boss Fight but have far less in them. Of course the guns are painted which probably kicks up the price. |

These are really nice figures, better than I expected. I ordered the bartender and KP trooper. Just placed a second order for a few more plus some of the blank bodies and accessory sets.
