From what I have seen so far, there is going to be a lot of parts swapping between the 2 lines without any modification....I can definitely check on that. I know that a Marauders head fits perfectly on the ball joint of a Dime Novel Legends figure. I also know the lower arms and hands look to be completely interchangeable (again...I will check further on that). I hate to say this, but I have never cracked the torso on a MTF figure...so I do not know what the arms look like on the inside of it but I am sure it is a lot like the DNL stuff as they require you to separate the torso to remove the arms. I do have for you these pictures from the Facebook group taken back a while ago of the exploded view of the figures and maybe that will give you an idea of the compatibility:Were you able to order your stuff successfully?
Here is a cracked torso. The early MTF figures, in the left armpit socket had a rubber spacer ring. Once it comes out, it's too loose. |

From that picture...I am going to say that the pieces are about dead on alike to each other. One thing I have thought of is since I have a few MTF white dress shirt torsos (both long sleeve and short sleeve) is to crack the torso and remove the arms.....then when I get the CFT The Marshall...remove his jacket and his black jacketed arms and replace with the white dress shirt arms and use the black vest from the Boot Hill Loot set and I will instantly have a non jacketed Marshall...with or without rolled up sleeves. |

I am going to take a guess and say late July or super early first of August. I mean...June is over in 3 days.

Items would be in Chicago in mid July, and a truck had to be purchased or something before they could be delivered? Something like that. I've waited years, so I can wait another month or two.
***Edit*** - Here is the original quote from JE Russell on Facebook: Quote:
Just heard that the shipment is in Chicago for processing through customs. It's great that it's moving so fast, but this creates another problem.
Because I have show commitments for JoeFest and Little Rock Comic Con, and also need to have time to purchase a new (to me) vehicle that will make the drive to sort and inventory the shipment at the Smalljoes warehouse, it looks like that opportunity won't arrive until week 2 in July. I know that Smalljoes is going to do a carton count on the items as they come in, but processing to ship out won't happen until a full inventory can be done. Smalljoes is also going to start a pre-order to be fulfilled after the KS/BK shipments are sent out. This also means I will NOT have any product for sale at JoeFest or LRCC. Addresses are scheduled to be locked down in about 18 hours in Backekit. If you have not updated your shipping information, now will be the last chance. Please do so at this time, if you have a need. July 10th is when the official inventory begins; which leads to KS fulfillment, then a probable re-inventory before SmallJoes takes over to fill their preorders and go live with the remaining stock.
AFAIK. |
