So when are the pre-orders supposed to come out. I ordered a bunch of hats, guns, and holsters, with the first announcement, and then ordered th Calvary officer, and some blanks with loot gear. When is that supposed to come out?

I listened to the entire video from 5/30/20 and wanted to share notes. The text in parenthesis are my comments to give context.
Cavalry figures will be Kickstarter:
General comments:
Series 1:
Q&A: Q: If current preorders haven't met their numbers yet, is there a deadline? If they aren't, will they be switched over into the kickstarter if the numbers aren't met? A: Cut off date isn't set yet. Depends on manufacturing. They are already committed. If they have to push off production, they won't put it into the kickstarter. Q: Keone Young and W Earl Brown figures, will they part of the kickstarter? A: No. Q: Will there be a general figure? A: There will be an officer. It won't be the general. Eventually this line will have the general. Q: Have you thought about adding stickers to it? A: Yes we said we would do it. Stop nagging old lady. (They then reference chevrons). Solution is to be determined, sticker, water slide, vinyl cling... Q: Will their be a bag of other colored stands like red or tan? A: Not until their stands are old sold out. Q: Chicken Fried Mascot toy, is it going to be made? A: Sometime next year they will try. They will try to make it an evergreen figure. Q: Any chance of getting muzzle blast or blood splatter? A: It's something they may consider the muzzle blast sometime in the future. Q: Possibility of boothill grave markers? A: With the under taker, there will be atleast one. Q: Will livestock like cattle or cattle skulls be made? A: Probably not yet. They recommended Schleich for now. Q: Build-a-diorama? A: If they get to that point, it would be a Diorama, not a build-a-diorama. Q: Any chance we get a guitar or fiddle? A: Yes, eventually... Mariachi band coming. Q: Will there be reissue of the heads, made up older? Like old versions of their characters? A: Everything is going to get used atleast three times. They will reissue if it makes since for the character/line. Q: Can someone to pay to have their ugly mug made? A: Yes. Q: Will any of the cavalry people have different hats? A: Yes. Q: Are you going to be doing any futurist cowboys? A: One of the waves of the buckaroos in the not too distance future will be color palettes from a couple of different animated properties. Color will allow you pick similar characters. Q: Would you do a CFT custom class? A: Yes, finding the right venue, etc. Q: Approximate cost of future horse? A: He would guess about $40 for the horse and the accessories. Q: Confederate troops? A: Not a priority, but there is a time in the future they will attack them. Q: Wave 2 Buckaroos, what is the timeline? A: This year. They are being cut right now. Before the end of the year you will see everything which has already been proposed or pre-sold (per John). |

Thanks for sharing Hushed. Another question I have is the horse tack. Will it fit on BFS horses? I know he said before that the horses will be smaller than BFS horses, but maybe the tack can be interchangeable.

What's awesome that I didn't catch was they were going to try and get the current preorders (wave 2 buck-a-roo's) out before the end of the year? Even if they don't hit the numbers these are guaranteed either way? That's great for those of us that were worried about it, but it makes sense about having to return to the Kickstarter format. Hopefully after the Cavalry Wave kickstarter, they will do the Cowpoke(!) Kickstarter with all the variants that have been suggested here so far like a cow-poking cowpoke stretch goal. |

Thanks for the info. The stage coach sounds interesting but a long stretch goal so I'll try not to get my hopes up. I wonder how the horses will fair considering that BFS did such a great job with theirs. I even ordered more to use with my Dime Novel cowboys.

Yes, thanks for the deets. Nice to know that Deadwood Dan Dority is getting a figure!
Man, I'd really love to get a Franklin Ajaye figure too. He'd be a great sub-in for a Frederick Douglass head, too |
