so, we're getting some old vehicles repainted and packaged with some repainted figures and calling them ROC?
bringing back the classic vehicles worked for the 25th/modern line because that was what THAT line was all about. bringing back the past and being nostalgic. just reusing those vehicles and repainting the figures (and scrapped resolute and modern figures) and slapping them under a ROC logo just seems like typical hasbro laziness to me. it gets me a little hot under the collar, i must admit. with all the talk and support of the new direction the movie is taking with this franchise....it seems so lazy and back asswards to just keep on churning out old vehicles from VvV and RAH and giving them dildo firing action. i'll support a few of the figures under the "ROC" logo, just to do my part in hopes that they will release Zandar, Zarana, Thrasher and the Thunder Machine, Low Light, Hydro Viper, Iceberg, Lifeline, Crazylegs, Jinx, Law and Order, Raptor, and Darklon....that's a big wish list....but i can hope. For anyone that hasn't been collecting Joe for several years, most of these may as well be "new." I mean seriously folks, you DO understand the very basic concept that Hasbro is really hoping to attract NEW buyers to G.I. Joe with this movie and its' accompanying toy line, right? |

OMG they are recycling that ridiculous gun with two clips from back in the 90s that began the death of GI Joe to me. Check what Grand Slam is holding. What crap.

These are exclusives. Exclusives rarely get new sculpting in the first place.

I must be in the minority here, but I like everything new in this thread. I mean the VvV Glider that comes with Grand Slam is kind of meh, but Grand Slam himself I really like, the EEL set is very nice. I don't mind SE on his ninja-bike either, I mean what kid wouldn't want the most badass character in the movie slicing and dicing while riding his motorcycle? Sure the A.V.A.C. is a little off-color, but I still kind of like it.

I do not know if anyone has said this in a thread, I didn't go thru them all, but it took Hasbro 8 to 9 years to screw up GI Joe. Here after two, it looks like they will be going back to Neon green, pink, yellow weaponry. The figures look great, but don't seem to manly when your sporting a neon green harpoon gun. Who decides on a neon colored weapon????

As for pink and yellow weaponry, I don't know what you're seeing but I don't see any yellow or pink weapons in the 4 packs shown on the first post |
