They emailed me today to thank me for shipping the extra Pythona back and they will reimburse me on my next order.

sorry you got "clubbed." Quote:
That was really awesome and honest of you to send that back to them.
Especially given that you had to pay to ship it back. Sounds like a small monetary amount but there is a principal involved. As far as Fun Pub goes they should reward your honesty with some small token of their appreciation. Maybe send you a pack of figure stands & weapons or an extra FSS figure they have lying around collecting dust. Give a little extra effort to your members that show a loyalty like this good deed. Looks like she's now sold out from the club store. A couple weeks ago they still had damaged card ones available. I guess whatever they brought to the con to sell there plus people tacking them onto recent orders finally cleared her out.
This looks like an amazing success story for the club. They filled a major fan want and their investment in new tooling fully paid off. They never had to discount the figure and they ordered enough so that it would not be an instant one-day sellout. People had at least a year to grab it even beyond getting it through a membership sign-up. Also looks like eBay prices have spiked. Several have sold for $80 in recent days which seems like a big jump from previous numbers. And yes, I agree, it's nice to see a figure that was pretty much 100% a success story in terms of design and popularity.
