Me too, I am a big fan of 12 inch stuff and would love to tie this into my 1:18 collection.

Good lord I want that! I'm not going. Any chance these will be available on line? I still remember getting the 12 inch version for Easter when I was a kid.

There may or may not be extras from the class available. It depends on whether there was a sell out on the Wednesday class or not. If there are, they will be auctioned on Ebay and the proceeds will be donated to the Cook Children's Center in Fort Worth who is the traditional beneficiary from the Saturday Night Auction proceeds at Con.
As for the legs, it's your call really. I always have a small pile of parts to help out those who don't have any extra, but you shouldn't count on finding exactly what you want in that pile. The head was from some 4 inch wrestling figure with no articulation outside the neckball joint. I chose the smiling head, because if you were covered in metal, and could fly and smash through stuff unscathed, wouldn't YOU be grinning like a maniac? I would be. I'm glad to hear the overall positive responses to the character choice. I understand that it's not for everyone, but for those who commented that it has nothing to do with 3.75 Joe, I disagree. Everything that's come before now, is part of the history of GI Joe and has some influence on what we have today. Sometimes positive, sometimes negative. It's all part of a bigger picture, and I personally celebrate all of it. See you Colorado! |

Initially I wasn't supportive of the character choice but after a few days of looking at the history of the figure and seeing a custom, I'm actually really excited to attend the class. Earlier in this thread it was mentioned to bring paint and brushes. Is there a place to clean up afterwards? Also looking at the brochure it says the class runs from 8:30 - 4:00. Does it actually run that long?

Wouldn't mind getting this one. I remember going to some I think relations Birthday party and they gave me Bullet Man to open, I thought he was mine. But nope had to give him back.

Seriously, if anyone is looking to sell this figure hit me up. I am interested. I think the choice is amazing but I see how some people are turned off by it.
