Yes, if you READ the rest of the thread I corrected myself, but thanks for pointing out my error ONCE MORE. :P

Well Kevin, what you don't know, since you are not a mod or admin of any site that I know of is that SOME of the sites DO work together. MANY chose not to and thus why you see a lot of duplicates. If you can think of a better system, I am sure the whole community would be all ears.

We should have went with my "Who let the dogs out?" question. Maybe Hasbro would have answered that.

fyi, vehicles like the R.H.I.N.O. Thunderwing Jet, Night Attack Chopper, Patriot Grizzly and others were classified as Delta vehicles. Probably due to racial connotations or something touchy like that (see the delay of the character Snow Job) is why they skipped Charlie

got news for you bro...Hasbro does the same thing re-using parts and making many frankenjoes and calling them new characters with maybe an actual new sculpted head....as far as MOTU classics goes...its the hottest Action Figure line going right now! Mattel are making figures WE WANT!! not a re-colored black and grey version of he-man, then slapping on a movie title on it and calling it G.I Joe like Hasbro is done....The MOTU figures are being made with specialty....the 25th/modern joes has lost that specialty all thanks to the upcoming Joe Film
MOTUC is a pathetically small line in terms of number of figures produced (5,000 - 10k of each character, if I'm not mistaken), which makes it really easy to sell out quickly. Just like 25A Joe when it first showed up and no one could find it anywhere...it's not because there are millions of people clamoring for it...it's because there wasn't that much being produced to begin with. Trying to compare a purely collector-targeted exclusive line to a mass-retail line is a false analogy to begin with, anyhow. Last edited by Jmacq1; 05-15-2009 at 11:08 PM.. |

You fail to contradict any of my points. You're paying $20 apiece (plus shipping) for something that should be $12 at most, and is essentially the same three figures with new heads and accessories. If that's what you like, more power to you. I can count probably at least 20 new sculpts in the RoC-era stuff that we've seen so far. I can count...4 in the MotUC line (He-Man/Man-at-Arms/Tri-klops, Skeletor/Zodac/Mer-Man, Beast Man/Stratos, and Teela/Evil-Lyn.

Maybe he doesn't mind paying 20 dollars plus shipping?

Well, that's good news about Sgt. Slaughter, I suppose. Sounds like they'd like to make something work with him now.
