As has already been said (and shown), those Red Star legs would be perfect for Bludd. Really, my only grief with Bludd is the upper legs, I'm still holding out some hope that they'll get changed. TF Flint actually looks surprisingly good. TF was always one of my least favorite sub-teams, and I was not looking forward to seeing any of them released. Hopefully, if they do more, they'll stay away from the stupid yellow stripes. (or yellow PP CG, hopefully they'll never repeat that hideous CG!) I'd still rather have a bending elbow. Maybe add a sheathe that locks it down? You know, with the three fingers. I mean, he clearly had his elbow bent on the packaging, in the show and in the comics.

I have to agree with "SR", if these figures were sprinkled in throughout 2008, I'm not sure anyone would care. Unfortunately, not even a year into the new 25th styling we are getting re-paints and versions of characters we shouldn't be seeing until the core characters are all made (i.e. where are my Barbeque and Torch?).
That said, I actually like most of these figures. As much as I hate specialty groups like Tiger Force and Python Patrol, both of these figures are very cool looking (especially Flint). I think the biggest disappointment is Roadblock. Hasbro had a perfect opportunity to give us a new head. I wouldn't even care if they re-painted his body, but the first head was a bit small and too friendly-looking. Sure, this wave is a let down after seeing the amazing "Viper" wave, but Hasbro is still doing a great job and I am happy to be on board. |

I think that Stalker's head was really good in comparison to Roadblock. I don't think its a bad sculpt but you are correct a bit friendly looking.

After the face the ToyBiz put on the original ML War Machine, I try not to complain about African American faces on figures.

terrible line-up except for Major Bludd. I want to see all the other 82-88 characters before I see version 3, 4 and 5 of some of them. Getting stupid.

So they've delayed Major Bludd twice to make him "better" but he's really just Zartan body - how does that work?

I think it is great these are all coming in one wave. that way, if you don't like them, you can skip an entire wave, and not have to go crazy trying to just find one or two figures. and it is even better for those who buy by the case. that way, if you don't like them, you aren't stuck with them in the case when you just want other figures.
I'd rather Hasbro release more figures than less, and if doing so we get entire throwaway waves in between waves of new figures and characters, that is fine with me. part of the problem is that we think every figure or wave released has to be new and exciting and everything we want. I don't think so. buy what you want and skip what you don't, but these being released doesn't really effect the release of other characters or figures at all, because Hasbro clearly has what resources they have in mind when determining what they can make new and what they can release in conjunction with them, and that is where repaints like this come in. |

You think it's "foolish" to, "believe (Hasbro) couldn't hire or outsource a company to drum up 75 figures and mold in under 6 months." In order to keep this line going, the brand managers have to keep it profitable, which means managing overhead and keeping production costs reasonable. If they decided to do it, Hasbro could get more than seventy-five figures ready in less than six months, but considering they're a corporation with a responsibility to their shareholders, it would be egregiously "foolish" to do so. That goes double when the sole purpose would be pacifying the source of incessant complaining on the internet. Wow. Just wow |

I like some of the 25th stuff but I wish they would just finish off the original lines not repaint stuff they have already done.
Zap Shortfuse recondo figures like this need to be made Thanks Don |
